New note on random boy...

Now...Back to our regularly scheduled Programming...

So I ended up talking to this guy for a full 2 hours yesterday and I had an epiphany. I was very short, almost mean in my conversation with him...practically calling him a liar at every turn! I told you he was silver-tongued...and it was really starting to get on my nerves, because I didn't know if any of his conversation was real!! Then I thought of my Keri Hilson theme song and decided to be a little nicer, relax my voice into thoses soothing tones (yes we all know we have them) and draw him into conversation about his background, goals and desires.

The epiphany: He was more interested in the conversation because it took him soooo long to get me to relax and talk. He treasured every second of it, lapping my words of like water. It was hilarious... I guess...YOU HAVE TO BE A LITTLE MEAN TO THEM AT FIRST, SO THEY APPRECIATE THE TIME YOU ARE GIVING THEM AFTERWARDS...

Maybe I just give in too easily most of the time...because it seemed odd that I wasn't beeing my "sugary-sweet" self. It seemed odd to be sooo spicy with someone so new...but he can't stop calling me for more of it!!!

Poor thing, he has no idea that I really mean it when I say I am using him as a social experiment!!

  1. I think it maybe a NY thing, I get accused of being mean all the time. Keri is from ATL ofcourse shes nice, they are southern bells. But NYers are just reluctant to buy the BS thats all, no I will not purchase that bridge in BK that your selling...

  2. YEs, Anonymous..that exactly what I think is going on in NY! We aren't willing to buy whateva is being sold..because it might be a con! We are skeptics and therefore are much more willing to accept skepticism from others!! It just makes more sense to us..
