The Perfect Date

Boy meets Girl. Boy takes girl on date. Boy pays for dinner. Boy buys girl's friend's a few drinks.  Boy takes girl home in HIS car. Boy goes home. Boy calls girl to say good night.

I like this new breed of guys.  The guy that can function on his own, does not need you to "drop him home" or try to stop by your apartment for a "quick nap" ,but instead will gladly pay for your cab after dinner and a movie.  The guy who knows that he is there to compliment you, not take over your space.  The guy that enjoys attending the work functions and can appreciate the fact that you are trying to make it to 6-figures by 30!  That is the "new breed of guys" that I am totally obsessed with.  

So of course, this is related to my date with the new guy.  I finally let him take me out and it turned out he is really a nice guy!  The new boy came out to meet me at a work function.  After all, I don't know him all that well and its better to meet him with others around. He was well-received.  He offered to buy a round of drinks for the group, and then checked in with me to see if I needed anything and left me to network! 

Then he made sure I ate dinner, got home safely and promptly returned to his own abode before wearing out his welcome mat!!!

Loved it, just loved it!
