Did ya'll miss me? Radio Date and BlackPeopleMeet

Info on the newest experiment...


This is how dedicated I am to this blog...as most of you know I am an avid Steve Harvey listener. So naturally I was listening when he started the "Radiodate" segment. Most people would be a little "put-off" by the idea of letting Steve Harvey put you on national radio and set you up on what is essentially a blind date. I could see how some would look as as a desperate move. Not me!! I thought it might be fun. I also thought it might put me one step closer to my secret dream of meeting Nephew Tommy (my radio crush of course...because I love FUNNY guys). So here's the deal. You have to click the Radiodate banner on WBLS website and sign up on blackpeoplemeet.com


The scary part:


It is not only Radiodate...you are now exposed to thousands of men who are online looking for a new partner/lifemate/booty call/answer to their mid-life crisis (depending on the day)


BUT:


If you are a normal person...signing up for a little fun and curiousity...then there is the small chance that you could meet ONE other (I can't imagine there are that many) NORMAL person who has signed up on te site as well...hopefully...




SO HERE WE GO!!


THe funny thing is...I signed up one day..and COMPLETELY forgot about it...I mean I even forgot what email..username...and password I used. So when I finally remembered...and figured all of the missing info out....I had 68 messages waiting (no exaggeration)!!! LOL


So instead of punking out"...I went through each and every one of them. Here are the stats:


1. About 20 of them were from men over 40....a little much for me...because I am not really interested in solving any man's mid-life crisis...


2. About 5 of them were from men OVER 60 which reminded me of the book by Gabriel Garcia Marquez "Tales of my Melancholy Whores" (great read...by the way)


3. About 20 of them were ust not good looking (I mean...my type...if we want to be politically correct...lol)


3. 10 of them were decent looking guys with 0-1 childen (which puts me off slightly because I am not blessed with any of my own)


4. About 5 of them were good looking, with no kids, and UNDER 5'10" (personal requirement...I just happen to have a preference for tall men)


5. And only 8 were from good looking men, with no kids, and OVER 5'10"....bingo!!!


So I decided to start from there.


I ended up narrowing it down to 3 guys...one of which I saw by chance in one of the picture scrolls..


You know how I like to name them:


1. The Tall Sweet and Seemingly Sensitive One (Mr. TSS for short)
2. The Sexy DJ
3. The Teddy Bear
