Couch-to-5K

Hello My Luvs,

So its the new year and though I am late on posting...I am going to give it a try again. I refuse to make any New Year's resolutions. I do much better figuring out my goals one day at a time. See what the almost-30s do to you? I think I am actually finally figuring this out. So its January 3rd and yesterday I did my first day on this running program COUCH-TO-5K. The idea of the program is to take a "couch potato" or someone who does not exercise frequently and prepare them to run a 5K marathon in 9 weeks. I know, crazy right?? I mean I have been working on my health and body for a year, lost a lot of weight and still don't think it possible. But what is the new year for if not to make the impossible, possible? (And NO that is not a New Year's resolution). LOL. So I got off my couch (literally) and did Day 1 of the 9 week program last night. Its only 9 weeks (M,W,F) and I hope that I can challenge myself to finish. I downloaded a funky app on my iphone that goes along with the running program and keeps me on point with the intervals. FUN TIMES. I'll check in weekly and let you guys know whats going on. If any of you are still out there!!! LOL.
